Who are the Atlanta providers?
The Atlanta clinical team includes Dr. Carolina Herrera, Lead Prosthodontist & Full-Mouth Specialist, and Dr. César Cáceres, DMD, Implant & Surgical Specialist, delivering care under Dr. Mario Montoya’s global smile design philosophy.
What happens at my first visit?
Your visit includes review of your health and dental history, diagnostic evaluation, discussion of your concerns and goals, and clear next steps. Patients considering a Smile Makeover or Full-Mouth Rehabilitation begin with the $500 Comprehensive Exam described below.
What is the $500 Comprehensive Exam?
The $500 Comprehensive Exam is a dedicated pathway for patients considering a Smile Makeover or Full-Mouth Rehabilitation, not the standard first visit for every new patient. It includes three specialized X-rays, a professional cleaning, a structural evaluation, and a dedicated clinical consultation. The $500 is credited 100% toward an accepted Smile Makeover or Full-Mouth Rehabilitation treatment plan.
Do you accept dental insurance?
We are a fee-for-service, out-of-network practice and do not accept dental insurance directly. We can provide itemized superbills and supporting clinical documentation if you want to submit for possible out-of-network reimbursement.
What direct payment methods do you accept?
We accept major credit and debit cards, cash in U.S. dollars, ACH or wire transfer, and direct online Stripe checkout.
What financing options are available?
Financing options include CareCredit, Cherry Financing, Proceed Finance, Affirm, Klarna, and selected in-house payment plans for eligible multi-stage treatment.
Do you offer clear aligners or Invisalign?
No. Clear aligner therapy is not part of the active clinical scope at the Atlanta practice. Cosmetic alignment concerns are evaluated to determine whether a ceramic or smile-design approach is appropriate.
How long can porcelain veneers last?
Porcelain veneers are designed for 10 to 15 years or longer of service with proper maintenance. Individual longevity varies, and an exact lifespan cannot be promised.
Can I preview my smile before veneers are placed?
For some cosmetic cases, digital design and a live mock-up provide a chance to evaluate proposed tooth shapes and proportions before the final ceramics are completed.
How quickly can veneers be made?
Selected cases can be fabricated through the on-site lab in as little as a few days. Timing depends on the number of teeth, material, preparation needs, and whether other treatment is required first.
Do you use Zoom whitening?
No. Our professional whitening protocol uses chemical bleaching without light activation.
What type of dental implants do you place?
We place titanium implant bodies and work with systems including Zimmer, Neodent, Hiossen, and Straumann. Ceramic and zirconia implant bodies are not offered.
Do you offer snap-in implant dentures?
No. We do not offer removable locator-style implant overdentures. Our full-arch implant restorations are fixed.
Do you make removable dentures or partials?
No. Traditional removable acrylic dentures and partials are outside the active service scope.
What is the difference between a smile makeover and full-mouth rehabilitation?
A Smile Makeover is primarily focused on coordinated cosmetic improvement. Full-Mouth Rehabilitation is usually driven by more extensive structural, functional, bite, and restorative needs. Some cases include both aesthetic and reconstructive goals.
Do you perform root canals?
Root canal therapy is performed in-house for anterior teeth and premolars. Complex molar root canals are referred to endodontic specialists.
Do you remove wisdom teeth?
We remove erupted or non-impacted wisdom teeth when the case fits the in-house scope. Deeply impacted wisdom teeth and higher-risk cases are referred to an oral surgeon.
What sedation options are available?
Nitrous oxide and oral conscious sedation are provided in-office for eligible patients. IV sedation may be discussed for select cases only if it is available and clinically appropriate after safety, monitoring, and provider requirements are reviewed.
Will I need someone to drive me home after sedation?
Some sedation options require a responsible adult to accompany you and drive you home. We will give you specific instructions based on the option being used.
Do you offer emergency dental care?
Emergency support is limited to active, registered patients during regular business hours. We do not offer after-hours emergency dental services or operate as a walk-in emergency clinic for new patients.
What number should I call for an urgent post-treatment problem?
Active patients should call 470-480-0687 during office hours for urgent post-treatment concerns.
